FAQs
Q. WHEN WILL OUR PHOTOS BE READY?
A. You will receive a preview of your photos within 48 hours of your wedding, and then the full gallery will be delivered 4-8 weeks later. In less busy periods, I sometimes am able to send the gallery within 2-3 weeks - but no promises on this!
Q. WHEN WILL OUR FILM BE READY?
A. If you’ve paid for a trailer, you’ll receive it within 1 week. The full film is typically delivered within 6–12 weeks. In most cases, it’s ready much sooner, but that window gives me a bit of breathing room if life or work gets extra busy.
Q. WE REALLY DON'T LIKE POSING, IS THAT OKAY?
A. Omg yes! I always work within what you’re comfortable with. You won’t be asked to do anything that feels unnatural or “posey,” but I might give gentle guidance - like where to stand, what to do with your hands, or which way to look. Most of my favourite shots come from real moments between you and your partner anyway :)
Q. DO WE HAVE TO PROVIDE FOOD FOR YOU?
A. A hot meal is greatly appreciated, especially when I am working my full-day package. However, I know meals can be expensive at weddings so I am happy to bring my own as long as I am told in advance :)
Q. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?
A. I like to capture your day as it really happens - natural, joyful, and full of little moments you might otherwise miss. I blend into the background for most of the day, but when the party kicks off, I’m right there on the dance floor to grab those iconic shots that show everyone letting loose! I usually only bring one camera and a couple of lenses, and I don’t use a gimbal when filming. The exception for this is during the ceremony or speeches - then I have extra cameras dotted around to capture everything in full, but these get put away immediately afterwards. This way, you’ll barely even notice I’m there, which makes for the best candid moments.
Q. DO YOU CHARGE EXTRA FOR TRAVEL?
A. Travel within London and the M25 is included. For weddings further afield, the first 30 miles from N16 (Stoke Newington) are complimentary, and after that, it’s 45p per mile. If your venue requires more than 2 hours’ travel each way, an overnight stay may also be needed - but don’t worry, I’ll always discuss any travel costs with you upfront so there are no surprises.
Q. DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
A. I require a 30% deposit to secure your date, with the remaining balance due 1 week before your wedding. However, I know weddings are a massive investment, so I’m happy to be flexible if you’d prefer to spread the payments across more installments.
Q. CAN WE SHOW YOU OUR PINTEREST BOARD?
A. YESSSS. I love Pinterest. Feel free to also send me anything you see on social media that you love the vibe of :)
Q. WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF EMERGENCY OR ILLNESS?
A. Touch wood, I’ve never been ill on a wedding day! Hopefully that never happens, but if it does, I’m part of a network of photographers and videographers I can call on to provide cover in an emergency.
Q. DO YOU USE A DRONE?
A. No and I can't see myself ever buying one either! I love keeping things as low key as possible - your wedding is about you and your guests - it is not a film set.
Q. CAN WE GIVE YOU A DRESS CODE?
A. Yes! I’m happy to dress to match your wedding vibe - just let me know in advance. I’ll still be comfy and ready to move around all day (so probably won't opt for heels), but I’ll fit right in with your guests!
Q. HOW IS THE SOUND CAPTURED FOR THE FILM?
A. For your ceremony, I use a small clip-on microphone hidden on the groom, which also picks up the bride and officiant. I also hide another microphone discreetly in the room to make sure nothing is missed. For the speeches, if you’re using a handheld mic, I attach my microphone to it with electrical tape. If the speeches are unamplified, I clip my microphone onto each guest before they start speaking.
Q. CAN WE CHOOSE THE MUSIC FOR OUR FILM?
A. Unfortunately, no. Due to copyright rules, I can’t use music chosen by clients. All of my music is properly licensed, so you can enjoy and share your film worry-free. And if you really hate a song when you receive your film, I’m happy to change it for you!
P.S - Other companies that say you can have whatever songs you wish are probably not following the law!
Q. DO YOU COVER DESTINATION WEDDINGS?
A. Although I haven’t yet, it’s something I’d really love to start doing as I love to travel! In terms of pricing, my package prices would stay the same, but you would be required to cover travel and accommodation.
